Fall Semester School Update

Hello

I took History 118 at my local community college. I got an ‘A’ in the class.

The final which was an essay was pretty easy. I could use my notes and journal but I didn’t.

The math that I took (math 97) I did NOT pass. I went to the tutoring center daily each week to get help. I did poorly on exams which caused me not to pass.

I need to pass math 97 to ‘graduate’ from remedial math to take math 110 & math 113.

I’m taking biology this upcoming spring (spring 2013). & math 97 for a 4th time.

I’m hopeful that I can pass math 97 the 4th time around.

How many of you also have dyscalculia (often called “math dyslexia”)?
I apologize for the term “disability” in this poster. I believe we have learning differences, not disabilities.
